The dashboard is that week-by-week spreadsheet of data. Though having it calculate percentage change and/or graphing it is certainly an easier way to digest the information.

Thanks for the kind words Miles. I’ll try to update the post with some more detail. The end product is actually that week-by-week Excel spreadsheet. Though, admittedly, it’s tough to see on the blog post. Once you have that data, you can measure it by percentage or create graphs. Based on the feedback I think I’ll either update this post or create another one to fully detail the process.

Nice article and a useful resource, but I agree with Dennis that it’s a little hard to visualise the end product and what is trying to be achieved.

I like the idea, but I don’t quite follow on how to gather the data. Are you using advanced segments? Also do you filter for just unique visitors?

Would love to see a screenshot of your graphs.
