I am seeing a new type of snippet on Google SERPs for certain social site profiles.

Google Rich Social Snippets

This rich social snippet includes a profile image as well as the most recent update from that individual.

I am seeing the new snippet for Twitter and FriendFeed profiles. I have not been able to produce a rich social snippet for Facebook or LinkedIn profiles.

In addition, it looks like the snippet might have a real-time trigger and is only displayed if that person has participated on that platform within the last hour.
